Dr Darshinee
Hello, I’m Darshinee! After having studied a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Honours in Physiology. I completed the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the University of Western Australia. I enjoy all fields of Podiatry but I have a particular interest in musculoskeletal, paediatrics and medical nail and skin health.
More importantly, I cherish the multitude of personalities I get to meet with my job and the valuable relationships I am able to form, where a pleasant exchange of knowledge occurs with patients becoming more educated about their feet and learning about different topics and current affairs from my patients.
Outside of podiatry, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going out for delicious meals and exploring new places. If there was one activity I could do everyday, it would be to watch the sunset! It makes me feel relaxed and refreshed for the next day to come.
I also love travelling – I was born in Mauritius and moved to Perth when I was in primary school. Since then, I’ve gone back every two years or my recent trip being to South Korea and Japan. My next trip will have to be either Europe, or India, as that is where my ancestors are from. I look forward to helping your foot health!
